I am breaking this third part into three more posts. This is post 3A:

On September 8, 2014, the Vincero Collective became the highest grossing Kickstarter Campaign for Jewelry in the USA for 2014. The goal set at $40,000 was tripled to the end sum of $132,349 with a total of 323 people helping to fund this campaign. The item was Italian Marble watches, a luxury item at a more affordable price.

The Campaign

Vincero launched their campaign on August 4, 2014 lasting 35 days. They not only exceeded their goal they made it to one stretch goal, that was $115,000. They had seven levels of sponsorship each with pictures and detailed descriptions of what the sponsor would be getting. I have a checklist of basic parts needed in a Kickstarter Campaign to be successful:

This campaign was one of the best-organized Kickstarter’s. It told a story about the product, the value, the process and showed what supporters would get. The major key to its success was the social media. The company had not only a website, but also Facebook and Instagram. The page on Kickstarter also had prominent display of links to these outlets. See photo below:

After the Project

The company is still going strong and just finished another Kickstarter campaign. This time it was for expanding its brand and going into the handbag industry. These bags are for their male client base. Their goal was $10,000 they raised almost 3 times as much at $29,633. Another successfully run campaign, all with the similar structure as before. They had video, clear photos, and details of the value of their product. The item not as prominent is the social media, my thought is that with this smaller goal and larger fan base the need to take up space on their campaign page was unnecessary.
